This last Thursday there was a lunar eclipse. Rob and I decide to keep the kids up to see it. We planned on letting them see the first few minutes and putting them to bed. Unfortunately, it clouded over at the beginning. Tohelp them feel better and wait to see if the clouds would clear, we went and got ice cream. Well the kids all fell asleep after a few minutes.

Rob and I finished our ice cream and then got out of the car to check one more time. We could finally see the eclipse. Excitedly we tried to wake the kids. Caleb wouldn't budge. Beth got sleepily out of the car, took one look and turned to me and said, "Why did you wake me up, it's just the moon." She climbed back into the car and went back to sleep.

Once we got home, Beth woke herself up and spent a few minutes watching the eclipse before going to bed. Rob got some pictures. It was actually cool to see the coppery color over the moon.
