The kids had a great time at their grandparents house all last week. One of the highlights was sledding in the backyard.
We decided to take the kids a few days early so we could sled before all the snow melted. I'm really glad we did. The conditions were perfect: packed down snow with a layer of ice on top.
The kids had a blast. Caleb screamed the whole time. I'm sure the neighbors were thrilled with all the noise at 8 am. Beth liked sledding on the disc the best. She said it was "wild and crazy."
Jacob attempted to make snow angels in the ice. Even though he couldn't manage to leave much of a print, he smiled so big the entire time. It was adorable. I took some video of our sledding adventure and I'll post it later this week. Until then, enjoy some photos.

This hill is a mini hill (just a small incline really) but the snow and ice were just right for a nice ride all the way down the yard. They loved it! We loved watching them.
