Not Much to Say!

Rob will be posting birthday footage soon--hopefully. He is over there on the iMac editing it. Keeps playing a Ryan Shupe song over and over, so it should be good. This was the big birthday week. Whew! I'm glad it's over. I mean what are the chances you have two boys within a week of each other--two years apart. Next year will be worse because Jacob will get a friend party too.

Caleb had a good party. Eleven kids in the house, and craziness ensued. He had the Pinata, Batman Cake and everything else that he wanted. Unfortunately we are lacking in pictures and videos, because of a slight emergency. I feel awful that poor Meadow had an allergic reaction at our house, and ended up in the emergency room. I think she is better today.

Jacob was really talkative today. All babble of course, he talked through the family watching a movie together. We watched The Dish, a very cool Australian movie (which Rob recommends), and I was impressed that the kids sat through it. It's a grown up movie, and we'd seen it before years ago, but they liked except Jacob kept talking. But we never tell Jacob to be quiet. Any talking, anywhere is a good thing.

Beth is on the verge of losing another tooth. It will be her sixth tooth, and she will have four empty spots. Her smile is so fun right now. I'll post a picture when it happens. Or maybe Rob will. She's doing great on her reading and will read us the scriptures at night. I am so proud of her.

Sadly my laptop really did die. We were totally panicked about what to do. We don't have money for a computer right now, and kindly three people offered us their extra computers until we can go buy one. So I'm on a Mac Mini until we get our tax refund. Whew! It sounds bad that we need more than one computer, but Rob and I both do extra work stuff at night, so it isn't really a luxury.

We feel bad that you are short on footage because of us! It was nothing that could have been prevented or helped, so please don't feel bad. Who knew our child could be allergic to air? lol.

Meadow is doing great. They put her on an oral steroid for the week. She was getting over a cold and they said sometimes kids with allergies are more reactive when they are a bit under the weather.

It was really nice of Rob and your Dad to drive with Greg so that he could sit with her and help until they could get to me.

We are so thankful to have great friends like the Caldwells!!!!

I mean Rob and HIS Dad :)

P.S. Greg remembers things like this happening to him when he was a kid, the uncontrollable coughing and wheezing.

I guess she comes by it naturally. Rob cracked us up much later joking about those "sickly Winters" hahaha

Glad you found a temp. computer

Heather,

Don't feel bad about the lack of footage. Greg was holding Meadow in the middle of the reaction and taking pictures of Rob's magic show.

Getting Meadow safely home was much more important than the pictures. We have lots of video and pictures of Caleb this month, and opening other b-day presents apart from his party.
